This alloy offers excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in seawater, acids, and alkalis. The mechanical properties include high strength, tensile strength ranging from 70,000 to 85,000 psi (483-586 MPa), and good fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength. It has a yield strength of about 30,000 psi (207 MPa) and can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C), making it suitable for harsh environments and high-stress applications.
