Stainless steel 904L forged fittings are made of high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, composed mainly of 25% chromium, 4.5% nickel and 1.5% copper These materials provide excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic environments, and enhance its strength and sharing is great. 904L also provides excellent weldability, formability and hardness. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength (about 520 MPa), yield strength (up to 240 MPa), and elongation (40%), making the fittings suitable for complex applications in chemical, pharmaceutical and marine applications in industry is subject to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracks.
